You will play the key role of IT Support Team Lead, coordinating other 3 colleagues working in the IT Support team. The IT Support team is responsible for providing high-quality employee IT support, including laptop setup and maintenance, user account activations, and SaaS administration, ensuring that all employees have the technology tools and resources they need to be productive and successful, thereby contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll work on

Coordination of other IT Support team members, task assignment, work review, reporting against goals and planning of long term activities. IT support team and your responsibilities will include:

  • Laptop setup and maintenance (setting up new laptops, installing software and security tools, maintaining existing laptops)
  • User account activations (activating user accounts for new employees, setting up email, calendar, and collaboration tools, managing user account permissions)
  • SaaS administration (managing the organization's SaaS applications, setting up new accounts, managing user permissions, troubleshooting issues)
  • Remote support (providing support to employees working remotely or experiencing technology issues)
  • Ticketing system management (managing the organization's ticketing system, tracking and prioritizing support requests, ensuring timely issue resolution)
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing (documenting common issues and solutions, sharing knowledge with team members)
  • Vendor and service provider management (working with external partners to ensure technology systems are up-to-date and running optimally)

This position requires presence in our office in Turin, in order to provide maintenance of IT office infrastructure and local support to colleagues

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT, Engineering Support, or related area.
  • 2+ years of experience in operating system or software application troubleshooting (e.g., root cause analysis, debugging).
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to 2 miles.
  • Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 40 lbs.
What you bring
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support roles in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or other technical-related fields
  • Experience in leading an IT Support team, distributing and reviewing work assignment, planning
  • Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with ticketing/service desk software (JIRA)
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Google Compute Cloud)
  • Familiarity with network setup for office e.g. Wi‑fi Access Points and similar
  • Understanding of IT security principles, cybersecurity best practices, antivirus, endpoint management and threat prevention
  • Ability to speak and write in English
Bonus points
  • Certifications in IT administration / Cloud technologies and platforms
