A leading compensation platform is seeking an Inside Sales professional to enhance merchant acceptance across Italy. Your role involves identifying, contacting, and onboarding small merchants, with responsibilities including managing a high volume of outreach activities. The ideal candidate has over a year of experience in B2B sales, especially in welfare or payments sectors. This is a remote position, requiring strong negotiation, communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards achieving targets.
Coverflex exists to make compensation work for everyone.
Pay is still rigid, fragmented, and hard to feel.
We turn compensation into choice — one platform, one card, one app — for benefits, meal allowance, insurance, and more.
Our platform is simple for HR and meaningful for employees.
We provide choice, smarter compensation tools, and empowerment.
Role: Inside Sales
Seniority Level: Junior
Type: Individual Contributor
Languages: Italian (main) / English (required)
Main Tools: HubSpot, Notion, Slack, ChatGPT
Location: Remote (Italy)
Compensation:
Equity: Yes – Stock Options under our Equity Incentive Plan
Benefits: you can check them below (at the end of the page)
Contract Type: Fixed Term - 6 months
Your role will play a major role in our success because you will help expanding Coverflex’s acceptance network among small merchants in Italy.
You’ll identify, contact, and onboard new partners, driving merchant acquisition and ensuring that users enjoy a seamless, frictionless experience when using Coverflex.
You’ll know you’re successful when, after 90 days, you’ve signed new merchants consistently, you've established an effective outreach rhythm and CRM discipline and you've contributed to stronger local presence and merchant satisfaction.
How we’ll measure success:
Main KPI 1: number of new merchants signed
Main KPI 2: number of merchants contacted/engaged
Main KPI 3: number of small chains engaged and signed
Let’s be real - here’s what makes this role challenging:
This is a high-volume sales role. You’ll be handling around 100 activities per day, contacting small businesses, supermarket owners, and restaurant managers
It demands high energy, self-motivation, and consistency
The hardest part? Keeping enthusiasm and engagement high, avoiding monotony, and staying laser-focused on targets every single day
You’ll probably find this frustrating if…
You need constant reassurance or close supervision
You struggle with routine or high activity volumes
You dislike cold calling and goal-driven environments
You prefer rigid processes over flexibility
