A global construction management firm located in Milan is seeking an HSE Manager. You will develop and implement HSE policies, conduct site inspections, and provide training to project teams. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role requires strong communication skills and fluency in English, with the opportunity to travel across projects in MENA and Europe.

Competenze

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in construction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines for our projects in MENA & Europe
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards
  • Provide HSE training and support to project teams and subcontractors
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of all HSE activities and report on performance to management
  • Keep up-to-date with local HSE regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws
  • Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies on HSE matters
  • Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and track HSE performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE requirements are integrated into project planning and execution
  • Participate in HSE committees and meetings to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in MENA & Europe
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages spoken in the region is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to project sites in MENA & Europe.
