Overview

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes provides tailored maintenance for aircraft wheels, brakes and related components. We are looking for a Health and Safety Manager to join our international team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Health and Safety strategy amongst production facilities in Italy, Hungary and Germany;
• Monitor and assess compliance with relevant health and safety laws, regulations, and company standards and make recommendations to ensure compliance amongst facilities;
• Monitor and evaluate workplace activities to identify potential hazards and risks, develop risk reduction strategies, and prevent accidents or injuries;
• Review, draft, and revise documents relating to occupational safety and health issues and coordinate their implementation and compliance;
• Carry out regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements;
• Develop and conduct comprehensive health and safety training programs for all employees;
• Implement a system for investigating any accidents, incidents or near misses;
• Facilitate regular safety meetings to promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility among all employees.

What you should bring / Qualifications

• University degree / post-secondary education (a degree in occupational safety, engineering or a similar field would be an advantage);
• Similar work experience in a manufacturing company, preferably - aviation sector;
• Fluency in English (written / spoken);
• Responsibility, persistence, and proactiveness;
• Occupational health and safety certificate.
