A leading specialty chemicals firm is seeking a Global Sales Director to establish and lead the global sales function. This role requires a strategic mindset and proven experience in commercial leadership within the plastics or chemical sector. Responsibilities include developing global sales strategies, leading sales teams, and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of experience and be fluent in English. Travel of up to 60% is expected. This position is based in Milan, Italy.

Part of a well-established International Group with an Italian heart, the company is seeking a Global Sales Director to drive its next phase of expansion.
This newly created position will establish and lead the global sales function with a managerial and visionary approach (go-to-market, business planning, product development, key account management, internationalization, team leadership). Develop and implement the global business development strategy across the group, with an initial focus on one key subsidiary to accelerate its sales growth. Collaborate closely with production, R&D laboratories, and purchasing to ensure commercial alignment with broader business objectives.
