This position reports to:

Global Operations Manager

In this role, you will have the opportunity to define and implement the global LV Systems engineering strategy. You will manage strategic action plans to achieve key qualitative and quantitative targets profitably and ensure high customer satisfaction. You will also lead, develop, and coach the marketing and sales functions.

Reporting to the Global Operations Manager LVS, you will define and implement engineering strategic initiatives aligned with the GPG strategy. This role contributes to the Global Electrification Smart Power Low Voltage Systems business.

This position is open globally, with location options in the European-Indian region at one of our LVS facilities. The work model is hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

1. Creating, planning, and implementing the global engineering mission, vision, strategy, budget, and efficiency targets.
2. Developing engineering career paths, training, and mentoring programs.
3. Optimizing global capacity sharing and growth through standardization of documentation and engineering structures.
4. Driving the utilization of engineering tools to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
5. Identifying automation and simplification opportunities by monitoring market trends and technological advancements within ABB.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of engineering leadership experience in an Engineer to Order environment, managing diverse engineering teams with strong knowledge of systems and tools.
• Proven success in developing and executing strategies for standardization and capacity optimization to drive growth.
• Strong leadership skills in building high-performing, diverse teams with a focus on organizational capabilities and a culture of excellence.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or business, fluency in English, and a self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent intercultural communication skills.
