A leading machinery manufacturing firm in Modena is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. In this full-time role, you will manage accounting and reporting for international subsidiaries, support general accounting tasks, and ensure tax compliance. The ideal candidate has a degree in Economics or Finance and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Excellent Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems are essential. Join our Finance team at Angelo Po and play a key role in supporting the Director of Finance & Administration. You’ll help manage accounting, reporting, and tax activities, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes across Italy and two international subsidiaries.

What You’ll Do
  • Take ownership of accounting and reporting for our French and Spanish commercial subsidiaries, working closely with local consultants
  • Support general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (US GAAP) and consolidation schedules (OneStream)
  • Perform monthly reconciliations and contribute to internal reporting
  • Help manage tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes)
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors (SOX/statutory)
  • Review and support contract analysis
  • Gain exposure to agent regulations (AEC, Enasarco, FIRR)
What You Bring
  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting or financial controlling
  • Knowledge of Italian civil and tax law; familiarity with US GAAP is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (JDE preferred, Oracle, SAP welcome)
  • Good command of English; French is a plus
  • Detail‑oriented, reliable, and a strong team player
