A leading food ingredients company is seeking a European Sales & Marketing Director to develop and direct sales and marketing activities across Europe. Candidates should have a strong background in B2B sales within the food industry, particularly in flavours and food ingredients. An educational background in sciences or food technology and fluency in English and Italian is required. The role involves travel and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction.

Location : Northern Italy onsite

Role : The Director of Sales & Marketing develops and directs all sales marketing and business developmentactivities in Europe

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Developing a sales and marketing plan to achieve set growth targets.

Developing and managing an effective sales and distributor team

Tasks

Qualifications and experience :

Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business (e.g.

Flavours Colours Extracts Powders)

closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors VPs and owners / executives

Highly self-motivated; able to operate autonomously in a dynamic environment.

Strong fit with the Companys culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction

Requirements

Qualifications and experience :

Bachelor or Masters degree with a preference for sciences or food technology / ingredients and / or MBA

Fluent in English Italian and other european languages are an asset

Minimum 10 years experience in a B2B sales environment within the food industry
