A leading global reinsurer is seeking a Senior Reliability, Scalability & Performance Architect to define and govern Non-Functional Requirements across their digital ecosystem. You will lead initiatives to ensure high-performance, resilient, and secure systems while collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates will have over 12 years of enterprise software experience and proficiency in Java, Azure, and DevOps practices. An attractive compensation package, including base salary and performance incentives, will be offered.
At L&H Solutions, we build and commercialize cloud-native (Azure-based) SaaS/PaaS solutions for Swiss Re Life & Health insurance clients. We offer a portfolio of over six products, including established offerings like Magnum with over 60 active clients worldwide, and innovative products such as UW Ease. We are a SW house within Swiss Re.
Our team consists of more than 150 technical professionals with multidisciplinary skills, located in multiple countries, working on these multi-regional, highly available solutions.
As a Senior Reliability, Scalability & Performance Architect you will define, design, and govern the implementation of Non-Functional Requirements across Swiss Re’s Life & Health digital ecosystem. You will collaborate with solution architects, engineering leads, and DevOps teams to translate enterprise standards into measurable system attributes such as performance, resilience, observability, and security.
In addition to NFR governance, you will be responsible for technology stewardship — proactively identifying, planning, and executing framework and library upgrades, security remediations, and platform migrations to ensure systems remain modern, compliant, and secure.
