Job Summary

The eCommerce Coordinator will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and driving the performance of the B2C website for the DACH region (Germany and Alps). The role requires a strong commercial mindset combined with a data-driven approach, with a clear focus on conversion rate optimization, pricing performance, catalog effectiveness, and customer behavior. The ideal candidate has proven experience working in structured and mature markets, with direct exposure to pricing strategies, performance monitoring, and conversion optimization processes, and has a solid background in CRO activities as well as experience on international markets, with a specific focus on the German market. This role plays a key part in influencing commercial decisions and driving online revenue growth through actionable insights and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

B2C Website & Commercial Performance Management

  • Manage and continuously optimize the B2C eCommerce website for the DACH region, ensuring product listings, descriptions, pricing, and promotions are accurate and aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Own and actively drive Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), considered a central KPI of the role, working on user journeys, funnel performance, and customer behavior analysis to improve sales results and Net Trade Revenue (NTR).
  • Monitor and optimize pricing metrics and catalog performance, translating data insights into concrete commercial actions.

Data-Driven Performance & Analytics

  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret key eCommerce KPIs, including conversion rate, pricing performance, catalog metrics, traffic patterns, and customer behavioral indicators.
  • Adopt and promote a data‑driven approach to decision‑making, identifying opportunities for performance improvement and revenue growth.
  • Translate data and insights into clear recommendations and executable actions for the business.
  • Optimize website content for SEO, including keyword research, on‑page optimization, and content enhancements in line with DACH market specifics.
  • Collaborate closely with Media and CRM teams, actively contributing to the evaluation and optimization of digital marketing activities such as email marketing, social media, PPC, and display campaigns.
  • Activate and manage campaigns with autonomy and a strong commercial vision, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Customer Experience & UX Optimization

  • Enhance the online customer experience by improving website usability, mobile optimization, and applying UX/UI best practices informed by behavioral data and performance analysis.
  • Optimize the online catalog through customer‑based and behavioral analysis to improve product visibility and conversion.

Inventory, Promotions & Operations

  • Coordinate with inventory and supply teams to ensure product availability and optimal stock levels for online sales.
  • Execute online promotions, discounts, and sales events to drive engagement, conversion, and revenue.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with Markets, Trade Marketing, CRM, Brand, Human Channels, Martech/IT, and Analytics teams to ensure cohesive strategies and smooth execution.
  • Collaborate with Martech and IT teams, providing business and commercial input, while technical implementation is managed by the analytics and IT functions.
  • Actively participate in cross‑functional and Trade Marketing meetings, confidently guiding discussions and influencing decisions rather than passively receiving inputs.

Market & Trend Awareness

  • Stay up to date with the latest eCommerce trends, tools, and technologies, particularly within the European and DACH markets, to ensure continuous competitiveness and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • Solid CRO experience;
  • Experience gained in international markets;
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce is a strong plus) and CMS tools (Adobe Experience Manager is a plus).
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising principles.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics is a plus) and strong confidence in data interpretation and KPI monitoring.
  • Strong commercial orientation with a results‑driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within cross‑functional and international teams.
  • Familiarity with web design and UX/UI principles.
  • Fluent in English; German is considered a strong plus.

Experience

  • 5–7+ years of professional experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or related roles within a global and structured organization.
  • Proven experience working on mature and competitive markets, with direct exposure to pricing strategy, performance monitoring, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong familiarity with European eCommerce dynamics, with a particular focus on DACH market trends and best practices.
