Duties and Responsibilities

As Director of Rooms, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Rooms department to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards.

The duties include:

• Rejuvenate the rooms experience by staying abreast of industry trends and updating knowledge and skills to improve offerings.
• Instill a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
• Lead a team of engaged managers within Front Office, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Experiences, each managing their own teams to uphold Six Senses standards.
• Achieve financial targets related to revenue, profitability, and ROIC.
• Ensure legal, statutory, and financial compliance, along with safety protocols, communication standards, and budget controls, to guarantee successful hotel operations.

Qualifications

To succeed as Director of Rooms, candidates should have:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, with at least four years of guest service/hotel experience, including two years in management. Over five years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
• Adherence to LQA standards.
