Descrizione del lavoro

Nouscom is a private clinical stage immuno-oncology company developing next-generation, off-the-shelf and personalized cancer vaccines. Our proprietary viral vector platform has the capacity to encode for large payloads of neoantigens or other immunomodulators and is clinically demonstrated to safely and potently harness the power of the immune system.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bioinformatics Scientist with 1 to 5 years of experience in computer science, software / program design, and informatics technologies to join our interdisciplinary team. This role will focus on designing and developing computational pipelines, analyzing complex biological data, and supporting scientific research through innovative informatics solutions.

The Bioinformatic Scientist will play a key role in the development of new algorithms to identify and select personalized as well as shared antigens for development of either personalized or off-the-shelf cancer vaccines. He / she will contribute to continuous improvement of the discovery pipeline performance by integrating newly acquired in-house and public data. He / she will develop robust analysis pipelines that can be applied in both research and clinical settings. As a part of the role, he / she will design vaccines following our in-house pipeline during clinical trial phases. Among other duties, he / she will liaise with external collaborators / service providers (e.G. NGS related) and will interact with IT to maintain scientific computing infrastructure. The Bioinformatics scientist will report directly to the Senior Bioinformatic Scientist of the Team.

  • Integrate data from public and proprietary sources to support research projects and product development
  • Maintain clear documentation of code, workflows, and results to ensure reproducibility and compliance with data standards
  • Troubleshoot and improve existing bioinformatics workflows for accuracy, performance, and automation
  • Present findings and technical approaches to stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Job requirements :

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics / Computer Science / Computational Biology & Data Sciences
  • A degree in scientific disciplines (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or similar fields)
