A leading footwear manufacturer is hiring for a role focused on managing T2 vendor quality issues in Indonesia. Responsibilities include conducting audits, assessing vendor performance, and implementing corrective actions to ensure high-quality standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong analytical abilities, and 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Vendor Management, preferably within the footwear industry.
Serve as the primary contact for T2 quality issues, fostering strong partnerships and transparent communication.
Assess T2 vendor performance through audits, inspections, and data analysis to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Investigate quality defects, perform root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone), and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop and manage tailored quality improvement plans for underperforming vendors, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Audits & Assessments
Well-structured internal audit procedure and policy conducted QIP audit accordingly.
Develop T2 QIP performance scorecards. implement monthly tracking report for poor performance T2 vendor and monitor material quality & delivery.
Conduct regular on-site/virtual audits of T2 vendors’ processes, documenting findings and ensuring adherence to regulatory/industry standards.
Educate T2 vendors on quality expectations, best practices, and tools to enhance performance.
Track KPIs (defect rates, compliance scores), analyze trends, and report to stakeholders with actionable insights
Responsible for managing an efficient material supply including Indonesia Supplier Localization Program
Support Material Vendor Management to conduct vetting T2 suppliers expansion facility in Indonesia.
Support Material Vendor Management to local source potential T2 suppliers, visit and conduct vetting process, when confirm to on board, conduct on boarding formality.
Visit to Indonesia related Materials Exhibition to source materials and potential T2 suppliers
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain related to vendor quality, ensuring continuity and reliability.
Provide risk assessment report to material owner and VM team
Minimum bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Six Sigma.
Familiar with Satra grading certification or SATRA cutting certification.
Has strong analytical abilities using QA tools (SPC, FMEA, PDCA).
5 -8 years in Quality Assurance/Vendor Management, preferably QIP audit work experience in the footwear industry.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Detail-oriented with problem-solving expertise and mindset.
