Job description

Overview

Plan and execute assigned service work for Machinery and Equipment products at customer sites. Work with customers to understand all aspects of the instrument. Work with Clients and other team members to provide permanent solutions that quickly and meet customer needs. Work with other functions for continuous improvement results in technical processes.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Occupational Safety & Environmental (OHSE) policies and other internal policies, as well as government regulations.
• Participate in technical training, and study technical documentation provided by the company and/or Client.
• Create professional service reports containing problem descriptions, actions taken, root cause analysis, recommendations and other important information.
• Perform service work at customer sites such as installation, operation and maintenance training, technical inspections, repairs and troubleshooting, replacement of spare parts, preventive maintenance, calibration, etc.
• Communicate customer complaints (technical and non-technical) to his/her superior.
• Conduct cost saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• English is a must.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a technical service technician.
• Familiar with at least one of the following equipment: Flexible Packaging Machine, Packaging Machine, Auxiliary Equipment, Filling Machine and Industrial Laboratory Instruments.
• Understanding of electricity.
• Good communication (English/Mandarin, presentation and interpersonal skills).
• Able to work independently and in a team.
