Your impact

Teaching Assistants (TAs) support approximately 25–30 learners in Correlation One’s virtual training programs. TAs provide synchronous and asynchronous support to ensure learner engagement, comprehension, and retention of program content. We are currently recruiting TAs in anticipation of upcoming projects; you may be added to our Expert Network and asked to support projects, programs, and learners as opportunities arise.

Responsibilities

• Attend and actively participate in mandatory Pre-Program TA Onboarding.
• Monitor Slack channels for learner questions and respond promptly.
• Check in with learners after live sessions to assess understanding and clarify concepts.
• Facilitate breakout rooms during lectures when applicable.
• Help maintain session progression if the Lead Instructor experiences technical difficulties.
• On non-live days, monitor channels, foster discussion, share resources, review upcoming content, and provide learner support.
• Offer up to six individual office hours via Zoom to address learner questions.
• Grade learner submissions within seven days and contribute to continuous program improvement with weekly write-ups.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and participate with camera on for engagement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Cloud Support, Cloud Engineering, Software Engineering, Networking, DevOps, or related fields.
• Desire to help students expand their careers in technical roles.
• Empathy, flexibility, patience, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn and use new learning and content management systems.
• Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Linux+ are preferred.
