Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of relationship managers responsible for servicing financial institution clients in the corporate banking division
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the financial institution client portfolio, including identifying new business opportunities and cross‑selling products
  • Oversee the team’s client relationship management activities, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Provide guidance and support to the team in navigating complex client requirements and negotiating favorable terms
  • Collaborate with other business units and support functions to deliver integrated solutions to clients
  • Monitor team performance, set targets, and provide feedback and coaching to drive continuous improvement
  • Represent the bank in industry events and forums, building the organization’s brand and reputation
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years experience in corporate banking, with a proven track record of managing a team of relationship managers
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including the needs and challenges of financial institution clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and address client needs and challenges
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high‑performing team
  • Proficient in the use of relevant banking and financial analysis tools
