Strategic Business Development Manager [Construction]

A Big Chinese Construction Company is looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. They are a leading state‑owned public listed EPC service provider in China, providing services from Opportunity Study, Feasibility Study to EPC services, Startup & Operation. We are specialized in the field of chemical, petrochemical, environmental protection, new energy, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research and reports to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate with client, ensuring adherence to law‑established rules and guidelines
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after‑sales support
  • Build long‑term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Prepare bidding documents and involve in clarification meetings
  • Take business trips in Indonesia or even through South East Asia Area
  • Attend the exhibitions and conferences related to our business development
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
  • Proven working experience in engineering and construction is MUST
  • Experience in chemical engineering is a plus
  • Good customer resources are a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office software
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent in Market knowledge, Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA or above in business administration, engineering, sales or relevant field
