Stock Assurance Executive (Inventory Stock Count Executive)

Working Pattern: Office-based & field (day/night stock counts)

About the Role

We are looking for a Stock Assurance Executive to manage and execute end-to-end retail and warehouse stock count activities across Indonesia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, compliance with standard operating procedures, and timely reporting to management. You will work closely with store, warehouse, and operations teams, conduct physical stock counts, analyze variances, and support continuous improvement in inventory control.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Count Planning & Execution

Plan, coordinate, and execute retail and warehouse stock counts based on the approved monthly and annual schedule.

Conduct an average of 6–10 retail store stock counts per month, including day and night counts.

Support warehouse stock counts while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Travel frequently to various cities across Indonesia to support stock count activities.

Pre-Count Preparation

Prepare stock count activities including data validation, stock freezing coordination, and system readiness checks.

Ensure availability of tools and resources such as scanners, count sheets, and manpower.

Brief store and warehouse teams on stock count procedures, timelines, and roles.

Stock Count Execution

Supervise and participate in physical stock counting in accordance with SOP.

Monitor accuracy during counts and resolve discrepancies on site.

Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams during count activities.

Post-Count & Reporting

Reconcile physical stock count results with system data.

Analyze variances, identify root causes, and prepare variance summaries.

Ensure timely closure of stock counts and submission of reports to management.

Maintain proper documentation for stock adjustments and approvals.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Able to work independently and manage tight timelines.

Good coordination and communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders.

Fluent in English (written and spoken) for reporting and communication.

Willing and flexible to travel frequently across Indonesia.

Willing to work night and day shifts during stock count periods.
