About The Job

As our Stakeholder Relations Manager based at Sampangagung Brewery, you will be the connector between Multi Bintang Indonesia and the communities, authorities, and organizations surrounding our operations. Your role is to build trust, manage permits and licenses, and foster strong relationships with government officials, community leaders, religious figures, and media to safeguard our license to operate and ensure smooth brewery operations.

Job Purpose

The Stakeholder Relations Manager plays a vital role in protecting our license to operate and ensuring operational continuity at both Sampangagung and Tangerang Breweries. You will proactively manage regulatory requirements, anticipate and address issues, and engage with stakeholders to positively influence perceptions, decisions, and actions for mutual benefit. By doing so, you’ll contribute to Multi Bintang’s ambition to grow the business, strengthen our reputation, and create long-term positive impact in the communities where we operate.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead brewery-level permit and license management (including land matters), ensuring compliance and no disruption to operations
  • Anticipate, identify, and manage issues or risks that could affect operations (security, social, or environmental)
  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including local and provincial governments, NGOs, civil society groups, community leaders, religious figures, and media
  • Collaborate with Brewery leadership and Corporate Affairs team to develop and deliver stakeholder engagement plans
  • Record and track stakeholder engagement activities in the stakeholder database/logbook
  • Support, monitor, and evaluate brewery-level sustainability and community impact programs
Candidate Criteria
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Relations, Social Sciences, or other relevant fields
  • 5–7 years of experience in stakeholder relations, public affairs, NGO/community development, journalism, or a related field (manufacturing/FMCG exposure is an advantage)
  • Strong track record in managing permits, licenses, and community/government relations
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in issue management, advocacy, and community engagement
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong local networks in East Java are an advantage
  • Resilient, collaborative, and able to work under pressure with integrity and high ethical standards
