We’re Hiring a Sr. Procurement Lead!

We are looking for a Sr. Procurement Lead to oversee and manage end-to-end procurement and logistics operations. This role will be responsible for driving cost-effective sourcing, vendor negotiations, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards. The Sr. Procurement Lead will also supervise the procurement team, foster supplier relationships, and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to meet business needs effectively and efficiently.

Work Location: Head Office, Jakarta

Reporting Line: This position reports directly to the Sr. Procurement & Logistics Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10–15 years of procurement experience in Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Power, or Process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
  • Proven vendor management and negotiation expertise, with focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Hands-on experience with logistics operations (transportation, customs, warehousing).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA MM module or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to ensure compliance with policies and audit standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full P2P cycle: requisitions, RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, delivery, invoice verification, and payments.
  • Supervise and guide the Procurement & Logistics team to achieve KPIs (cost savings, lead times, compliance, vendor performance).
  • Lead vendor identification, development, performance reviews, and corrective action planning.
  • Negotiate with suppliers using a TCO approach to deliver best value in cost, quality, delivery, and service.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Finance to fulfill procurement needs.
  • Oversee logistics operations: transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing.
  • Ensure compliance with governance policies, ethical standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports, updates, and presentations for management review.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging SAP S/4HANA MM and digital tools to enhance efficiency.
  • Support inventory optimization and working capital reduction initiatives.
