Job summary

A leading foods and beverages company in Indonesia is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee sourcing activities related to MRO and CAPEX. Job description

Conduct sourcing activities for MRO materials and Capex projects (for MRO & CAPEX), including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies that meet those requirements.

Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service levels.

Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, conduct periodic reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Identify and evaluate new suppliers to enhance the supplier base and drive competitive advantage.

Cost Management

Analyze cost structures and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets and ensure that all procurement activities are within the allocated budget.

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Utilize data analytics tools to assess procurement performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

Prepare regular reports on sourcing activities, supplier performance, and cost savings to inform management decisions.

Requirements
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree from any related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain analysis, with a strong focus on commodities related to MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), CAPEX (Capital Expenditures).
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; experience with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
