Overview

As a Software Engineer on the Infrastructure Engineering Governance team, you will design, build, and operate platforms that enhance security, reliability, and cost efficiency across GTF’s multi‑cloud environment. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and finance stakeholders to drive cost awareness, streamline processes for budgeting and allocation, and ensure clear visibility of cloud usage. In your first six months, you’ll directly contribute to platform improvements that boost developer productivity, strengthen infrastructure reliability, and scale our systems to meet growing demand.

What Will You Do

• Design, improve, and develop toolings to support reliable, effective and efficient cloud infrastructure operations in the FinOps and Security area.
• Work with product, engineering, and finance stakeholders to support their business use cases, and contribute to building solutions that meet their needs.
• Drive cost governance with clear budgets, allocation models, alerts, regular reviews, and transparent reporting.
• Take ownership of a feature to improve our FinOps and Security platform, from ideation to implementation.
• Actively adopt and learn new technology in order to improve our platform.
• Safeguard our cloud infrastructure by implementing good engineering practices.

What Will You Need

• Experience working in multi‑cloud environments, including Alibaba Cloud, GCP and AWS, with strong fundamentals in IAM and Billing.
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go / Python, and have experience building systems at scale.
• Familiarity with front‑end development using React and Typescript.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Familiar with DevOps practices such as version control, CI/CD, and GitOps. Gitlab experience is a plus.
• Familiar with various open standards such as JWT, mTLS.
