Social Media Specialist Fashion (Content Creator)
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and growing the brand’s presence across all social media platforms. This role combines strategic planning and hands-on execution—covering content ideation, creation, scheduling, and community engagement. The Social Media Specialist monitors trends, analyzes performance data, and develops creative strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and conversions. Working closely with the marketing and creative teams, this position ensures all content reflects the brand’s voice, identity, and campaign objectives while building meaningful connections with the audience.
Job Description
Content Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute visual content for digital usage. Responsible for content shoot.
- Manage the content calendar, develop creative ideas, and post the output across platforms.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure the social media strategy is aligned with the marketing plan, and collaborate with the creative team to ensure all visual output is aligned with Chocochips’ identity.
- Confidently appear in front of the camera and act as the muse for the content (optional; a plus point).
- Build social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Content Posting
- Manage daily posting across platforms, including captions, hashtags, and tagging.
Trend Research
- Research trending formats (audio, hashtags, content styles) and adapt them for the brand to keep Chocochips’ relevancy.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
- Experience managing fashion or lifestyle brand accounts is a plus.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms.
- Creative and up-to-date with the latest social media trends.
- Strong copywriting skills for engaging captions.
- Solid understanding of content pillars and audience targeting strategies.
- Basic photo/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and proactive engagement with the audience.
- Collaborative team player, able to work across marketing, creative, and sales teams.
