PT TI Matsuoka Winner Industry is a Japanese-owned garment company located at Jln. Raya Tegalpanas-Jimbaran RT 001 RW 001 Dsn. Secang Ds. Samban Kab. Semarang, Central Java, which is engaged in the production of ready-to-wear clothing for the export market. The company was founded in July 2012 and is part of the TORAY GROUP.

We are opening a vacancy for the position of Sewing Manager who has strong technical and managerial skills to lead a team in the Sewing Department. This position aims to increase productivity and quality in the production line and develop team capabilities to achieve company targets. We are looking for individuals who are able to provide technical guidance, lead by example, and build relationships of trust with team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee and manage the sewing department with over 1,000 employees
  • Lead production line operations and improvement activities through supervisors and line leaders
  • Provide technical guidance in sewing and implement countermeasures to reduce defects
  • Manage production with a focus on quality, delivery, and efficiency
  • Foster talent development within the department and build strong communication with the shop floor
REQUIREMENTS (MUST-HAVE)
  • Proven experience as a Sewing Manager or equivalent position in a garment factory
  • Hands‑on experience in managing a sewing department of 500+ employees
  • Strong technical knowledge in sewing and a track record of guiding operators and supervisors
  • Team management and people development skills
  • Ability to deliver results during the probation period (3–6 months) as an immediate contributor
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in mass production of underwear, lingerie, or apparel
  • Experience working with multinational staff
  • Practical knowledge of quality control methods (e.g., QC tools, 5Why analysis)
