Job summary

A leading machinery maintenance company in Indonesia is seeking a candidate to perform maintenance and servicing on extruder machines. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of PLC systems, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machine issues, coordinating maintenance schedules, and providing support to production staff. An active Class A driver's license and willingness to travel are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PLC systems and programming logic.
• Ability to service and calibrate testing and balancing machines.
• Must have Class A driver's license for mobility to client locations.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of extruder machines to ensure optimal performance and lifespan
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing any technical issues or malfunctions in the extruder machines, and implementing effective solutions
• Collaborating with the production team to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise downtime
• Documenting all maintenance activities and providing detailed reports to the management team
• Continuously monitoring the condition of the extruder machines and recommending upgrades or replacements when necessary
• Providing training and support to production staff on the proper operation and care of the extruder machines

Qualifications

• Understand PLC Basics
• Have basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and programming logic to support machine troubleshooting and operation.
• Able to Service and Calibrate Testing & Balancing Machines (Training will be provided)
• Experienced or able to learn and perform maintenance, repairs, routine checks, and calibration on testing and balancing machines to maintain accurate results and stable machine performance.
• Have Good Communication Skills & Basic English (Elementary)
• Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and external parties, and understand basic technical instructions in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have an active Class A driver' s license
• Required to support mobility and visits to machine/client locations as needed.
• Readiness to Travel or Visit Customer Sites
• Willing to travel out of town or to customer locations for machine installation, repair, or calibration.
• Disciplined, Responsible, and Able to Work Independently
• Possess a strong work ethic, able to complete tasks without direct supervision, and committed to quality work.
• Experience in a Similar Industry is a Plus
• Previous work experience in the machinery, measuring instruments, or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
