Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturing company in Indonesia is seeking a QA/QC Manager. In this role, you will develop and implement a Quality Strategy aligned with business vision and manage continuous improvement programs. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline and over 10 years of experience in the QA/QC sector, particularly within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate would have strong leadership qualities, knowledge of quality control tools and ISO standards, and excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in QA/QC in the Automotive Manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Experienced in implementing Quality Management Systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Strategy and Roadmap aligned with the company’s business vision
• Integrate Quality Objectives into company-wide KPIs
• Implement and manage continuous improvement programs
• Balance Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Risk aspects
• Provide coaching and mentoring to Manager and Supervisor levels

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in QA/QC, with a total of more than 10 years of experience in QA/QC within the Automotive Manufacturing industry
• Experienced in leading cross-functional QA & QC teams
• Strong knowledge of Quality Control tools (SPC, FMEA, MSA, 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
• Knowledge of Non-Conformity and Corrective Action (CAPA)
• Understanding of Regulatory Compliance
• Knowledge of Supplier Quality Management
• Strong understanding of Risk-Based Thinking
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills (A3 reporting & PowerPoint presentation)
• Experienced in implementing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS), with strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001
• Proven experience in internal and external auditing
• Detail-oriented with a strong continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
