Job Description
As a Sales Marketing Material at PT Indonesia Optic Technology, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our specialized fiber optic materials. This includes identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs and providing suitable fiber optic material solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and social media. Identify and contact potential clients, including telecommunication companies, data centers, government agencies, and other relevant industries.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions and technical advice.
- Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of all fiber optic materials offered by PT Indonesia Optic Technology, including their specifications, applications, and competitive advantages.
- Sales Presentations & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and strategies.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare sales quotations, negotiate terms of sale, and close deals in accordance with company policies.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular sales reports to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any product-related inquiries or issues.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and marketing materials, campaigns, and promotional activities.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Telecommunications, or equivalent), Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the fiber optic, telecommunications, or related technology industry. Experience selling technical materials or components is a strong plus.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of fiber optic technology, components, and their applications. Familiarity with fiber optic cable types, connectors, splices, and related accessories.
- Sales Skills: Excellent sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solver with the ability to identify client needs and propose effective solutions.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within Indonesia and occasionally internationally for client meetings, trade shows, and training.
- Plus Points: Existing network of contacts within the telecommunications or fiber optic industry in Indonesia.
