Job summary

A global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification services is looking for a dedicated sales professional in Jakarta Utara. This role involves identifying and qualifying opportunities, supporting senior sales managers, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has a background in B2B sales, preferably within the oil & gas or industrial sectors, and possesses strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in oil & gas, power, mining, construction, or industrial services is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities through market research, networking, and customer visits.
  • Support senior sales managers in managing key accounts and preparing proposals for technical or project-based services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders, including procurement, site engineers, project owners, and consultants.
  • Prepare quotations, coordinate technical/commercial clarifications, and follow up to drive conversion.
  • Maintain accurate sales data, pipeline, and activity logs in CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal technical, tendering, and operations teams to ensure proposals are accurate, feasible, and competitive.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and key project pipelines in target sectors.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or other customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in oil & gas, power, mining, construction, or industrial services is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycles (feasibility, design, construction, operation) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable preparing proposals, quotations, and commercial documentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Fluent in conversational English.
