Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager (Infrastructure) to be based in our Indonesia office.

In this customer‑facing sales role, you will liaise and build relationships with executive management teams at our customers to exceed allocated sales targets across a broad range of industrial automation, software, process control solutions, power control, digital transformation and cyber‑security solutions. You will leverage Rockwell Automation’s key areas of innovation and differentiation, including advanced analytics, IIoT platforms, AI capabilities, and a Connected Enterprise architecture.

You are responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at assigned accounts, including end users, EPCs, OEMs, and system integrators, while coordinating activity with respective business units or channel partners to ensure effective utilization of resources.

You will report to the Country Manager, Indonesia.

Your Responsibilities
  • Achievement of allocated sales target in products, services and solutions by actively negotiating and closing opportunities while working with the broader Matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams and partners.
  • Growth of Rockwell Automation business in existing accounts from broader RA Solutions.
  • Increase Rockwell Automation market share from new accounts.
  • Improve customer satisfaction for assigned account packages and high‑level engagement by providing solutions to address customer pain points and market challenges.
The Essentials – You Will Have
  • Develop strategic account plans for assigned accounts through disciplined planning and sales execution process.
  • Lead internal teams and partners (Distributors, System Integrators, OEMs, etc.) in executing strategic goals defined in the account plans and annual operating plans.
  • Focus on customer‑facing activities in support of account plans and annual goals.
  • Adopt a disciplined approach to managing sales opportunities and front‑log using available sales tools.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular contacts/visits and company‑sponsored surveys.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Analyze current business levels against allocated sales target and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitors, market drivers and RA offerings.
  • Perform any other relevant responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have
  • Degree in Business, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
  • Good knowledge/selling experience in infrastructure such as Smart Cities, Water, Power, Airport, Seaport, Railways.
  • Experience with industrial automation products and solutions such as DCS, PLC, VSD, MCC, Electrical Distribution, etc.
  • Experience in an infrastructure environment involved in the delivery of solution‑based outcomes.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of outcome‑based solutions selling experience within a similar industry.
  • Software experience will be an added advantage – Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Analytics, Advanced Analytics, etc.
