Job description

As a Regional IT Engineer, you will be the onsite technical expert supporting our regional offices and collaborating closely with Group IT. Your role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems while driving strategic initiatives such as cloud adoption, ISO 27001 compliance, and M&A integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-User Support: Deliver Level 2 support for hardware, software, and network issues to maintain business continuity.
  • Security & Compliance: Monitor and enforce security standards aligned with ISO 27001 and group policies.
  • Cloud & Identity Management: Administer Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Exchange Online.
  • Endpoint & Device Management: Configure and manage Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security tools (Defender, Sentinel One, CrowdStrike).
  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain local servers, networks (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), VPN (SonicWall), and Hyper‑V environments.
  • Access Control: Manage application access and ensure compliance with security requirements.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain IT asset records, SOPs, and deliver user training.
  • Project Participation: Support M&A IT integrations, office relocations, and new technology deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 3–5 years in IT support (Level 2 or onsite).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, and Exchange Online.
  • Experience with endpoint management (Intune, Endpoint Central) and automated software distribution.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016/2019, and Hyper‑V.
  • Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, Wi‑Fi (Aruba/Ruckus).
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, ManageEngine).
  • Exposure to ISO 27001 audits/compliance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in hybrid or multi‑site environments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and vulnerability management.
  • Scripting/automation (PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with ITIL 4 principles.
Certifications (Preferred)
  • ITIL 4 Foundation
  • Microsoft 365 Administrator / Modern Desktop Administrator
  • Azure or AWS Cloud Administration
  • CompTIA A+ or Cybersecurity certifications (ISACA, SANS, EC-Council)
