Job summary

A leading company in the chemical sector in Tangerang is seeking a QC Lab Supervisor to lead and develop the QC Laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, strong experience in quality management systems (ISO 17025), and excellent leadership skills. Responsibilities include overseeing daily lab operations and ensuring high-quality performance. Fluency in English is preferred.

Job description

Lead, supervise, and develop the QC Laboratory team to achieve operational excellence and high-quality performance.

Plan, organize, and monitor daily laboratory operations, including physical, chemical, and microbiological testing (as applicable to the company’s products).

Review, control, and update quality documents, SOPs, and laboratory reports.

Establish, validate, and maintain analytical methods, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 and other relevant standards.

Manage calibration and verification programs for laboratory equipment, as well as method validation.

Oversee quality control testing for raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

Investigate non-conformities in testing results and provide corrective and preventive action recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

At least 3 years of experience as a QC Lab supervisor or Manager.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 17025 certification is mandatory)

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.

High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in handling laboratory data.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
