A procurement company in Indonesia seeks an experienced professional to develop and execute procurement strategies. The role requires managing supplier relationships and overseeing the procurement process. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in procurement, including supervisory experience. The ideal applicant possesses strong negotiation skills, familiarity with ERP systems, and proficiency in English.
Develop, lead and execute procurement strategies
Oversees the daily procurement process, from purchase requisition (PR) to purchase order (PO) issuance
Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
Perform cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers also experienced in vendor localization
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (S1) in Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in Purchasing or Procurement, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a supervisory or senior position
Familiarity with an ERP system (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar) for purchasing module
Good negotiation skill and networking
Good leadership skill and decision making
Good English language skills both in speaking and writing
