We are looking for a Project Director to join our Bali office.
Job Summary
As a Project Director, you will demonstrate exceptional creativity, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality interiors. This role requires overseeing all aspects of project management, from initial conceptualization to final execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire and direct a talented design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Develop and present sophisticated design concepts that align with client expectations and project objectives.
- Apply expert space planning skills to create functional and cutting-edge designs.
- Oversee project timelines, ensuring all phases are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved and profitability maintained.
- Liaise with construction teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the build process.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, presenting design packages and project updates effectively.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
- Ensure all projects adhere to local building codes, regulations & operator standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring any issues are promptly resolved.
- Engage with clients, architects, engineers, and sub-consultants to align project objectives and deliverables.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and generate regular progress reports for stakeholders.
- Manage teams’ timesheets and monitor project hourly consumption to ensure efficient resource allocation and project profitability.
- Bear fiscal responsibility for projects, including full knowledge of contractual obligations, i.e. scope, project schedule, budget, fee, payment schedule, and T&C.
- Ensure efficient communication and workflow on intercompany projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 8‑10 years of experience in resort / luxury hospitality interior design.
- Strong creative and conceptualization abilities.
- Proficiency in space planning and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of hotel design and construction processes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of project and resource management.
- Excellent skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop.
- Fluent in English.
