Job description
Product Researcher Freelance (Will be converted to Full Time)

As a Senior Product Researcher, you will play a critical role in shaping product decisions by grounding them in deep customer and market insights. You will lead end-to-end research initiatives to understand customer behaviors, needs, and pain points across Luxehouze’s luxury buying and selling journey—spanning Watches, Fashion, and Beauty.

This role partners closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Business stakeholders to ensure that every major product initiative is informed by clear, actionable research. You are expected to not only execute research, but also influence strategy and decision-making through strong storytelling and insight synthesis.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and execute end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and diary studies
  • Translate complex user behaviors into clear insights, opportunity areas, and product recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to shape product discovery, validation, and prioritization
  • Conduct research across multiple domains such as customer acquisition, conversion, trust, post-purchase experience, and internal tools
  • Build and maintain user personas, journey maps, and insight repositories to support long-term product strategy
  • Support experimentation by defining research hypotheses, success metrics, and evaluation frameworks
  • Present research findings confidently to senior stakeholders, influencing roadmap and strategic decisions
  • Ensure research practices are ethical, unbiased, and aligned with Luxehouze’s luxury brand positioning

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Product Research, UX Research, or related fields, preferably in tech, marketplace, or e-commerce environments
  • Strong experience conducting qualitative research (interviews, usability testing) with the ability to complement with quantitative methods
  • Proven ability to translate research findings into practical, business-relevant insights
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with Product, Design, Engineering, and Business stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to influence without authority
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and managing multiple research streams
  • Bonus: Experience in luxury, fashion, watches, beauty, or high-consideration purchases / e-commerce / OTA (online travel agent)
  • Position open for freelance and will be converted to Full Time after 3-6 months
