You'll be presenting Siemens DISW solutions portfolios to senior leaders within customer organizations, gently guiding opportunities forward to foster timely and triumphant collaborations!
Key responsibilities
- Strategic Customer Engagement & Value Definition: Lead customer engagements from discovery to definition, aligning executive vision with digital roadmaps, conducting Value and Solution Roadmapping (VSR) workshops, and establishing Business Cases (ROI).
- Technical Solution Leadership & Xcelerator Expertise: Act as a Trusted Advisor, providing technical solution leadership, orchestrating presales, and leveraging Siemens' Xcelerator portfolio with deep application and domain expertise across discrete and process industries.
- Opportunity Development & Technical Closure: Drive opportunities to technical closure by participating in value discovery, assessing customer needs, and developing creative technical/commercial solutions.
- Demonstrations, Proposals & Evaluations: Lead technical discussions, conduct compelling product demonstrations, prepare comprehensive software/solution proposals, and support customer product evaluations (workshops, training, benchmarks).
- Channel Partner Enablement & Support: Plan, coach, and support channel presales teams in SEA on technical enablement and value discovery, actively assisting partners in their technical sales processes.
- Sales Process & Transition Support: Actively contribute to funnel creation through supporting sales processes and marketing events, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation.
- Requirements Capture & Documentation: Accurately capture customer requirements and expectations into Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure seamless handover to services.
- Professionalism & Administration: Uphold Siemens' professional integrity, adhere to all core internal and customer processes, and manage necessary business administration.
Qualifications
- Education:University Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Industrial Engineering /equivalent
- Core Experience:Significant experience (several years) in MES/PLM Solutions, Consulting/Presales, including project implementation and support. We are looking for a seasoned professional, with experience specifically withindiscrete industries (e.g., automotive, industrial machinery). SCM/ERP experience is a plus.
- Technical Acumen:Strong background in database and full-stack programming, familiar with enterprise SaaS ecosystems. Demonstrated interest and experience in Cloud, Generative AI, IoT, and Industry 4.0; AWS Cloud certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner/Solution Architect) are preferred.
- Customer & Business Insight:Proven ability to engage customers, understand enterprise system challenges and industry trends, and translate requirements into compelling value propositions, business cases, and workable solutions.
- Leadership & Prioritization:Dynamic leader with high accountability, capable of working independently and effectively prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Communication & Sales:Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, coupled with strong sales and relationship-building abilities.
- Work Ethic:Highly self-motivated, IT-savvy, and adaptable, flourishing in dynamic environments while skillfully navigating multiple tasks.
- Travel:Willingness and ability to travel, often on short notice, is essential.
