Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer for an intensive 1‑month project with one of Indonesia's top financial services companies. This is a fast‑track development project that requires immediate availability and commitment to work full‑time on‑site at our Rasuna Said office.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP‑based applications using modern frameworks
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for system integration
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver project milestones on schedule
• Write clean, scalable, and well‑documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues efficiently
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality standards
• Integrate third‑party services and APIs as required
• Optimize application performance and database queries
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning meetings

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience as a PHP developer
• Expert‑level proficiency in at least one major PHP framework:
  • Laravel (preferred)
  • Symfony
  • CodeIgniter
  • Yii
• Strong database skills: MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Proven experience in RESTful API development and integration
• Proficient in Git for version control
• Available to start week 2 of December 2024 or sooner
• Committed to FULL WFO at Rasuna Said, Jakarta Selatan for the entire contract duration

Technical Skills

• Object‑Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Linux/Unix command line experience
• Debugging and performance profiling tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or fintech industry
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with Docker or containerization
• Knowledge of microservices architecture

• Experience with automated testing (PHPUnit, Pest)

Contract Details

• Duration: 1‑MONTH intensive project – not suitable for long‑term employment
• Work Location: 100% WFO at Rasuna Said office – no remote or hybrid options available
• Immediate Availability: Candidates must be available to start within 2 weeks or less
• Commitment Level: High‑intensity project requiring full dedication and focus
• No Extensions Guarantee: Contract is strictly for 1 month based on project timeline
