Job summary

A leading bag manufacturer in Indonesia seeks a Payroll Manager to handle the payroll process, ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations, and support audits. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with strong knowledge of tax regulations and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a dynamic work environment. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft tools is essential. This role will be based in Grobogan, Central Java, Indonesia and entails training in Jepara.

• Proficient in operational payroll processes with at least 3 years of professional experience.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire monthly payroll process, including salary, allowances, overtime, and deductions calculation.
• Ensure compliance with labor and tax regulations (PPh 21, BPJS Kesehatan & BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).
• Perform payroll data reconciliation and ensure employee data accuracy.
• Support audits and internal controls related to payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Accounting / Finance.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulation PPH 21 and Manpower Law.
• Experience in HRIS, payroll software solutions and Microsoft applications.
• Experience with implementation of payroll processes in an industry recognized payroll solution is an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel and its formulas.
• Proficient in English.
• Detail oriented and analytical.
• Possessed good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional experience at least 3 years.
• Experience working within fast-paced, matrixed, dynamic, business environment.

Location

Willing to be trained in Jepara and placed in Grobogan, Central Java.
