A leading technology company in Indonesia is seeking Optical Network Engineers (L2) to support DWDM, SDH, and FTTX network operations. This role involves monitoring network performance, troubleshooting, configuration, and performance optimization to ensure service stability for enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience with optical transport networks and strong skills in using NMS and optical measurement tools. Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience in DWDM, SDH, OLT, or FTTX technologies.
• Strong understanding of optical transport networks.
• Experience using NMS for DWDM/OLT (Huawei U2000, Nokia NFM-P).
• Skilled in optical measurement tools (OTDR, OPM, BERT, etc.).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN, SNMP).
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Able to work under pressure and handle urgent network issues.
• High attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
• Willing to work shifts or respond during emergencies when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance through NMS (Huawei U2000 / Nokia NFM-P).
• Perform DWDM/SDH/FTTX troubleshooting (remote and on-site).
• Execute configuration, commissioning, and capacity upgrades for DWDM & OLT devices.
• Conduct optical testing (OTDR, OPM, BERT, Fiber Cleaner, RSL, OSNR, BER).
• Analyze alarms and resolve network issues (critical, major, minor).
• Perform preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Prepare technical documentation (topology, reports, RCA).
• Coordinate with internal NOC, field teams, vendors, and project teams.
• Support service provisioning, migration, and topology updates.
