A manufacturing company in Indonesia is seeking a skilled technician with expertise in product assembly and mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will perform precise assembly following standard operating procedures, conduct inspections, and create 2D/3D CAD models to support product development. A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Perform product, module, and precision component assembly following SOPs and quality standards.
Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machines, supporting preventive maintenance programs.
Read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings and design specifications to support product development.
Create and modify 2D/3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for design tasks, jigs, fixtures, or process improvements.
Execute root-cause analysis on mechanical issues and provide corrective action recommendations.
Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and assembly methods in line with tolerance standards and safety regulations.
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to support smooth operations and continuous improvement.
Prepare technical reports covering repair results, testing, and improvement implementations.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
At least 2 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in product assembly or machinery maintenance.
Requires strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination; must be capable of handling delicate mechanical parts, executing precise assembly tasks, and utilizing hand/power tools effectively for prototyping or repairs.
Proficient in interpreting complex technical drawings and using 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to support engineering projects.
Strong mechanical aptitude with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and root-cause analysis for equipment malfunctions.
Knowledge of engineering materials, tolerance standards, and workplace safety regulations is highly desirable.
