Job summary

A leading shipbuilding company in Batam is seeking a highly skilled Marine Technical Support Engineer to provide after-sales support, troubleshooting, and technical assistance for marine propulsion and electrical systems. The successful candidate will have a Marine Engineer Class I or II certification and proven experience as Chief Engineer on ocean-going vessels. Responsibilities include technical support, customer service, and conducting training for clients' technical staff. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineer Class I or II certification with proven experience as Chief Engineer on ocean-going vessels.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in marine engineering, including hands-on experience with diesel engines.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for vessel propulsion and related marine systems.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and maintain communication with clients and internal departments.
