Responsibilities

• Supervise daily incoming inspection of raw materials and components.
• Manage calibration activities and evaluate supplier calibration certificates.
• Lead internal audits for IQC and support management reviews.

Job description

Supervise daily incoming inspection of raw materials, machined parts, and components as per specification and drawing requirements.

Review and update incoming inspection criteria and sampling plan based on customer feedback and audit findings.

Strengthen documentation and traceability system in IQC through inspection reports, lot traceability, and visual inspection standards.

Conduct trend analysis on incoming rejections and lead root cause analysis with suppliers and internal teams.

Support quality alerts and communication with production and purchasing teams on non-conforming parts.

Calibration and Metrology

Manage calibration activities for all measuring and test equipment used in IQC, IPQC, and final inspection areas.

Evaluate supplier calibration certificates for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Conduct in-house verification or intermediate checks using reference standards.

Prepare identify the qualified calibration vendors (KAN/ISO 17025 certified) for customer requirement.

Analyze calibration failure trends and initiate preventive maintenance for measuring instruments.

Maintain MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and GR&R (Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility) records for key inspection equipment.

Quality Management System (QMS)

Lead internal audits for IQC and related quality processes, ensuring CAPA completion and system improvement.

Maintain QMS documentation (SOPs, WI, Control Plans, Calibration Logs, and Record Retention).

Support management review with data on IQC trends, supplier performance, and calibration compliance.

Coordinate and prepare for external audits (Customer, ISO, or Certification body).

Conduct awareness and refresher training for inspectors on calibration, inspection methods, and QMS requirements.

Ensure audit trail and document control system is properly implemented and followed across departments.

Conduct training WI and SOP for the operators – Production & quality members.
