About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager Factory (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic team at Midea Electronics Indonesia. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all HR-related functions at our manufacturing facility in Cikarang Utara, West Java. Your expertise in Mandarin and understanding of Indonesian labour laws will be crucial in ensuring our factory operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and policies to support the company's business objectives
  • Managing employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and termination
  • Ensuring compliance with Indonesian labour laws and regulations
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that promotes employee engagement and well-being
  • Liaising with local government agencies and unions to address HR-related matters
  • Providing HR-related advice and guidance to factory management and employees
  • Overseeing payroll, benefits, and other HR administrative tasks
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and practices

Requirements

  • Min 8 years of experience in a similar HR management role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent command of Mandarin and Indonesian languages, both written and verbal
  • Thorough understanding of Indonesian labour laws and regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in HR software and data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
