Job summary

A leading footwear manufacturer in Semarang is seeking an HR Generalist to manage recruitment, handle employee relations, and maintain HR policies. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree and 2–4 years of experience in HR functions, strong communication skills, and knowledge of labor laws. Qualifications

Job description

Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year, and annual reviews.

Handle employee relations issues by providing guidance, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.

Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.

Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.

Prepare and maintain HR reports, records, and documentation.

Assist in training and development programs to support employee growth and capability building.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

2–4 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.

Strong knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance).

Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience in fast-paced manufacturing or multinational environments is a plus.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage.
