Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development:
    • Identify, evaluate, and qualify new and existing suppliers for critical raw materials (e.g., dairy ingredients, sugar, flavorings), packaging components (e.g., cartons, bottles, films), and indirect materials.
    • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, potential new suppliers, and innovation opportunities within the food and beverage supply chain.
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management:
    • Lead complex negotiations with local and international suppliers to secure optimal pricing, favorable terms, and reliable supply contracts.
    • Manage the full contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance, performance, and risk mitigation.
  • Quality & Food Safety Assurance:
    • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure all procured materials meet stringent food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality specifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000 principles).
    • Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Work with planning and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, reduce lead times, and optimize delivery schedules to support uninterrupted production.
    • Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, price volatility, and geopolitical impacts.
  • Cost Management & Value Engineering:
    • Proactively identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or supply reliability.
    • Participate in value engineering projects to explore alternative materials or processes that enhance product value or reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Build strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Production, Sales, Finance) to understand their needs and provide effective procurement solutions.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for supplier-related issues and opportunities.
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Track key procurement metrics, prepare comprehensive reports on spend analysis, supplier performance, and savings achieved.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing and negotiation for raw materials and packaging in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance processes, and supply chain best practices relevant to perishable goods.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for procurement functions.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
