A prominent sales organization in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to formulate and implement effective sales and promotional strategies. You will manage business relationships with distributors and guide a team towards achieving sales targets. Formulating, implementing, and evaluating effective sales and promotion strategies by conducting regular market analysis (Market Intelligence) to meet established volume, value, and profitability targets for the assigned area.
Planning and supervising the execution of all promotional programs, market activations, and events at the distributor/retail level to increase brand awareness and sell-out.
Managing and strengthening business relationships with Distributors, Agents, and Key Outlets within the assigned region.
Ensuring the effectiveness of the distribution chain, adequate product availability (stock availability), and maximum distribution coverage.
Compiling routine reports on sales performance, promotional activities, and market dynamics for senior management.
Managing and controlling the area's operational and promotional budget efficiently.
Conducting regular market visits and joint visits to the field.
Managing, mentoring and developing team performance by setting individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conducting daily, weekly, and monthly performance monitoring and evaluation.
