Job description
Overview

Formulating, implementing, and evaluating effective sales and promotion strategies by conducting regular market analysis (Market Intelligence) to meet established volume, value, and profitability targets for the assigned area.

Planning and supervising the execution of all promotional programs, market activations, and events at the distributor/retail level to increase brand awareness and sell-out.

Managing and strengthening business relationships with Distributors, Agents, and Key Outlets within the assigned region.

Ensuring the effectiveness of the distribution chain, adequate product availability (stock availability), and maximum distribution coverage.

Compiling routine reports on sales performance, promotional activities, and market dynamics for senior management.

Managing and controlling the area's operational and promotional budget efficiently.

Conducting regular market visits and joint visits to the field.

Managing, mentoring and developing team performance by setting individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conducting daily, weekly, and monthly performance monitoring and evaluation.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in a relevant field (Management, Marketing, Business, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Sales and Distribution, with at least 3 years at the Area/Regional Manager level (Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Promotion Manager).
  • Strong experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry or related sectors dealing with massive distribution networks (General Trade/GT and Modern Trade/MT) in Indonesia
  • MUST possess in-depth understanding of the market characteristics, geography, and distributor network across assigned area.
  • Proven leadership ability in building, managing, and motivating a large-scale sales team.
  • Proficient in: Sales Data Analysis, Promotional Strategy Planning, Negotiation, and Presentation.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis and PowerPoint for presentations).
  • Proficient in Hokkien and other dialect is a must
  • Ability to use CRM/Sales Reporting systems is a plus.
  • Willing and able to undertake intensive business travel across the entire assigned region
  • Must possess a valid driving license (SIM A or C).
