Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative functions, including office management and facilities.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures.
- Manage administrative staff, including HR, recruitment, training and development.
Legal
- Review, analyse and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and Cotecna processes, to protect the organization's interests.
- Ensure that contracts and business practices comply with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards as well as Cotecna policies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts, such as liability, indemnification and termination clauses.
- Collaborate with external counsel as needed to develop and implement legal strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
Compliance, Risk and Insurance
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards as well as Cotecna Group standards, code of compliance and processes.
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks through proactive risk management strategies.
- Procure and manage insurance programs to mitigate risks, in coordination with Corporate legal departments.
Government Relations
- Foster relationships with government agencies and officials.
- Monitor and analyze government policies and regulations.
- Represent the organization in government forums and meetings.
Data Analysis
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to inform business decisions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally Degree in Law or equivalent.
Required Work Experience
- At least 10 years of administration/legal/HR experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors
- Experience in HR, Administration, Compliance, Legal, Ethics in Indonesia, if possible with a specific knowledge of the TIC sector.
- General understanding of Commodities Trading, particularly Nickel and Coal Commodities, and Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services.
- Strong result orientation coupled with collaborative spirit and strong interpersonal qualities.
- Capacity to understand and impact public relations and corporate affairs.
- Ability to analyse complex problems, analyze data, compile information, and prepare reports.
