Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading national company in mining. As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15-20 years' experience in supply chain management for the job GM SCM position. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Key job responsibilities include:
  • Report directly to the Board of Director
  • Lead and oversee Intercompany procurement based on quality, reliability, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favourable conditions for the Company.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct sales forecast analysis to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage inventory and supply chain activities for imports and exports.
  • Optimize local procurement, customer service, logistics, and planning.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation reports, lead annual stock takes, and manage product expiration.
  • Enhance logistics efficiency and cost-effectiveness through optimization initiatives.
  • Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years in supply chain management experience, preferably in mining industry.
  • Strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business-oriented, proactive, and innovative with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent analytical skills, creativity in solutions, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
