Overview

This position is opened for our mother company, CRCC, and is officially posted through CCECC Indonesia for recruitment purposes.

We are looking for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to support mining and infrastructure projects through geotechnical design, analysis, and technical consulting to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide technical consulting for tailings facilities, waste dumps, mine slopes, and geotechnical structures.
• Conduct feasibility studies and landslide hazard risk assessments.
• Support sub-grade (roadbed) engineering design and consulting.
• Coordinate geotechnical design workflows and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Communicate with clients, partners, and stakeholders for technical coordination and approvals.
• Review technical documents and provide recommendations on constructability and engineering risks.
• Support construction-phase technical issues and design modifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in geotechnical or mining projects.
• Experience in tailings dams, slope stability, seepage analysis, and hazard assessment is a plus.
• Proficient in Plaxis, GeoStudio, FLAC, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Knowledge of Indonesian regulations, SNI, and K3 is preferred.
• SKA/SKT and STRI certification is a plus.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Language
