General Manager Operations - Electrical & Manufacturing Company
We are seeking an experienced and strategic‑minded General Manager to lead our overall business operations and drive organizational growth in a manufacturing & electrical components manufacturing company.
Job Description
- Oversee company operations, systems, and workflows to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Develop business plans, oversee implementation, and evaluate performance to ensure the achievement of company strategies and objectives.
- Lead and evaluate the performance of Production, Supply Chain, PPIC, Procurement, QA/QC and General Affair departments.
- Establish and implement policies, operational standards, and quality guidelines to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage major projects to ensure timely delivery, budget alignment, and adherence to technical and safety standards.
- Liaise with various departments to meet the company's goals and targets.
- Identify, implement and monitor short and long‑term strategic & production plans.
- Plan, implement and monitor workflows, production systems and processes in a sizable factory operation.
- Monitor production plan, productivity, quality and on‑time delivery.
- Monitor the systems and procedures for efficient and effective cost and quality control.
- Drive digital transformation through ERP/MES implementation, data‑driven operations, and KPI dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with national electrical standards (SNI), safety protocols, and customer audit requirements.
- Oversee electrical manufacturing processes, including assembly, wiring, PCB handling, functional testing and electrical quality assurance.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management or Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management or general management position, preferably within the engineering, automation, aviation and machinery industry.
- Proven expertise in project management, including end‑to‑end planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with demonstrated ability in budgeting, costing, and pricing strategies.
- Experience in electrical components manufacturing or electronics production is highly preferred.
- Minimum 12 years overall experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in senior manager operation.
- Preferably certified in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM.
- Strong leadership in managing large cross‑functional teams (HR, Production, Engineering, QA, Supply Chain).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
