Job Title

Firmware Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the system integration of new embedded system products, ensuring smooth and efficient implementation.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional internal teams to deliver products that meet technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with third‑party vendors to execute system integration testing and facilitate technology transfer processes.
  • Develop comprehensive firmware documentation, including requirements, design, coding, verification, and validation test plans.
  • Create and verify hardware/software reference manuals to ensure product sustainability, contingency planning, and ease of use.
  • Manage projects effectively by ensuring timely delivery and meeting project deadlines.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering, with a strong foundation in embedded systems or embedded software development.
  • Minimum 2 (two) years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming; Phyton/Bash scripting language.
  • Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with embedded system programming using AVR, MSP430, ARM, or PIC microcontrollers is an advantage.
  • Skill in SCM (Software Control Management) tools like SVN, Git, Jira, Mantis, Serena.
  • Knowledge on I2C, SPI, UART, RS485 and other communication standards.
  • Able to use basic tools like oscilloscope, multimeter and other measurement tools.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with an innovative and resourceful mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
